The refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade rolls into the new year on new 24-inch wheels with a higher $89,590 price, including the mandatory $1,995 destination fee, GM’s luxury brand disclosed on Wednesday. That marks a $5,700 increase over the base 2024 Escalade Luxury rear-wheel-drive grade. Four-wheel drive adds $3,000 across the lineup, except on the range-topping V-Series grade where it’s standard for $161,990.
Changes to the 2025 Escalade include a bolder vertical face with narrow running light slits at each end that leads into a high shoulder line down the body. The interior follows design elements launched on the electric Escalade IQ, such as a 55-inch curved plane of glass housing a digital instrument cluster, a central touchscreen, and a passenger touchscreen. Then there’s a climate control screen in the center console. Cadillac confirmed that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will still be standard.
Cadillac equips every Escalade with a suite of driver-assist tech, ranging from automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection to GM’s peerless Super Cruise hands-free driving system.
Options include an automatic driver’s door that opens upon approach, an AKG sound system with up to 40 speakers, and massaging seats.
The Escalade comes with a 420-hp 6.2-liter V-8 and a 10-speed automatic routing power to the rear wheels. Cadillac ditched the turbodiesel 3.0-liter inline-6 that was only a $100 upgrade last year. An air suspension and magnetic dampers promise to soften the ride on mid- and top-grade models.
The Premium Luxury grade costs $98,790, which is $3,600 more than last year.
The cosmetic upgrades on the $99,390 Escalade Sport mark only a $1,200 increase from last year.
The Escalade Premium Luxury Platinum costs $118,390, while the Sport Platinum adds $500.
