2025 Chevy Blazer EV price cut to $45,995, range to 334 miles

Chevy dropped the price and increased the range and power of the 2025 Blazer EV, Chevrolet revealed on Friday. A new front-wheel-drive model is the new base model with a price of $45,995, including a $1,395 destination fee.

Additionally, every 2025 Blazer EV qualifies for a $7,500 tax credit at the point of purchase.

That model had been promised but never delivered since the Blazer EV launched last year. The single-motor model has an output of 220 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque, but range hasn’t been certified yet by the EPA. Chevy says it will be available to order “soon.”

The 2024 Blazer EV’s base model was the 2LT two-motor, all-wheel-drive model. The 2025 Blazer EV AWD LT costs $48,995, which is $1,200 less than last year’s 2LT.

Range increases four miles to 283 miles, and system output increases to 300 hp and 355 lb-ft (from 288 hp and 333 lb-ft).

That makes the 2025 Blazer EV cheaper than some key rivals. A 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E with all-wheel drive and 300 miles of range costs $50,895, and the 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 SE with AWD and a 260-mile range costs $50,745. The Volkswagen ID.4 Pro AWD costs $50,180 and has a range of 263 miles. 

The $56,990 RS RWD and top SS AWD models get a larger 102-kwh battery pack while the rest of the Blazer EVs get an 85-kwh pack. The RS RWD tops the range with 334 miles (from 324 miles) and output increases to 365 hp (from 340 hp) and 325 lb-ft.

Available early next year, the 2025 Blazer EV SS AWD will cost $61,995 and have 595 hp and 645 lb-ft in its Wide Open Watts performance setting. Range has not been confirmed.
