2025 Ford Expedition gets $6,070 hike to $63,695

The redesigned 2025 Ford Expedition full-size SUV gets a new platform, new technology, and a Tremor off-road model, among other changes, but they come with a significant price hike.

The base Active trim level costs $63,695, an increase of $6,070 over the entry price for the 2024 model. That’s including a $1,995 destination charge unchanged from the 2024 model year. Standard features include a 24-inch panoramic display, 13.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a split tailgate that’s new to the Expedition for 2025.

Next up is the $76,425 Platinum that adds features like Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free highway-driving system, power-adjustable pedals with memory, and a 10-speaker B&O audio system.

Starting at $83,025 with destination, the Expedition Tremor features standard four-wheel drive with an electronic locking rear differential, 33-inch all-terrain tires on 18-inch wheels, heated and ventilated front seats with perforated leather upholstery, heated second-row captain’s chairs, and a power-reclining third row.

The $85,650 King Ranch sits atop the range with notable features like 22-inch wheels and unique interior trim with a Southwestern theme.

In addition to the standard-wheelbase version, Ford continues to offer a stretched Expedition Max body style with all but the Tremor grade, adding $3,000 to the bill. The Expedition comes standard with three rows of seats and accommodations for seven or eight, depending on whether second-row captain’s chairs are selected.

The Expedition continues with a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 that makes either 400 hp (up 20 hp from last year) or 440 hp. A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard regardless. Rear-wheel drive is standard on the Expedition Active, but a full-time four-wheel drive system is a no-cost option, and standard on higher trim levels.

Built in Louisville, Kentucky, the 2025 Ford Expedition is available to order now through Ford dealerships.
