The Goodwood Festival of Speed is a standout event on the automotive calendar, held each summer on the picturesque grounds of Goodwood House in southern England. It brings together some of the world’s finest cars and most accomplished drivers, celebrating speed, power, driving prowess, and a shared passion for all things automotive.
However, the attractions aren’t chosen at random. They follow a central theme that changes each year. On Wednesday, the organizers announced that the theme for 2025 will be “The Winning Formula – Champions and Challengers.”
The new theme coincides with the 75th anniversary of the Formula 1 World Championship, promising an impressive display of historic F1 cars.
Organizers stated that the 2025 festival will feature the largest F1 showcase since the event’s inception more than two decades ago, with appearances from drivers, team members, and other notable F1 personalities, past and present.

Other motorsport series will also be celebrated, including the World Manufacturers’ Championship, which marks its centennial next year, as well as the Gordon Bennett Cup and the Thousand Mile Trial, both celebrating their 125th anniversaries.
A giant sculpture known as the Central Feature will also be on display. These sculptures, created by artist Gerry Judah, are typically several stories high and serve as a focal point of the festival.
More details on the attractions are expected to be announced in January.
Early bird tickets for the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed are already available. The event will run from July 10-13.
