The 2025 Honda Accord sedan rolls into the new year with at least a $400 increase and a new SE trim that replaces the EX grade from the 2024 Accord, Honda revealed Monday. The base LX costs $29,390, and the base hybrid, the Accord Sport, now costs $34,750, which is a $760 increase from 2024.
The 2025 Accord now costs at least $1,000 more than when it was redesigned for the 2023 model year. The additions for 2025 include rear seat vents and two USB-C ports.
The base LX and new SE use a 192-hp 1.5-liter turbo-4 with a CVT that mimics an automatic transmission and sends the power to the front wheels. Fuel economy reaches 32 mpg combined. Honda equips every Accord with automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, active lane control, blind-spot monitors, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams.
The $29,390 LX is pretty basic, with a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 7.0-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and cloth upholstery. Like Toyota, Honda has a basic 3-year/36,000-mile warranty with two years or 24,000 miles of scheduled service. The LX rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels.
The new SE costs $31,655 and adds black 17-inch wheels, black exterior trim parts, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a sunroof, and a power driver seat. It’s about $600 more than the 2024 Accord EX, and has most of the same features along with its black trim elements.
Most shoppers in 2024 selected the Accord Hybrid, for good reason.
The two-motor hybrid system joins a 2.0-liter inline-4 to make 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. Sport, Sport-L, and Touring trims of the Accord Hybrid have an EPA-rated 46 mpg city, 41 highway, 44 combined. The EX-L Hybrid downsizes wheels from 19 inches to 17 inches, and boosts efficiency to 51/44/48 mpg.
That outpaces the 2025 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and its 47-mpg combined rating, but it can’t match the segment-leading 2025 Toyota Camry and its 51-mpg combined rating.
The 2025 Honda Accord Sport starts the hybrid lineup at $34,750. It’s our recommended buy, with its 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone compatibility and wireless charging, heated front seats, 19-inch black alloy wheels, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The more efficient EX-L downgrades to the smaller wheels to achieve its 48-mpg rating. It costs $36,035, and adds leather upholstery and parking sensors. The $36,470 Sport-L adds black trim elements and a rear diffuser, as well as a power front passenger seat.
The Touring hybrid tops the lineup at $40,985. It features a Google built-in infotainment operating system with a 3-year data plan, 12-speaker Bose audio, a wireless smartphone charger, a wifi hotspot, heated and cooled front seats, heated rear outboard seats, and a 6.0-inch head-up display.
