The 2025 Honda CR-V carries over mostly unchanged for the new year, except for a price increase of $300 to $600 from the 2024 Honda CR-V. Redesigned for 2023, Honda’s bestseller and one of the most popular compact crossovers on the market now starts at $31,450. All prices listed include a $1,350 destination fee.
The CR-V LX, EX, and EX-L comes with a 190-hp 1.5-liter turbo-4 with a CVT and front-wheel drive. The EPA rates it at 28 mpg city, 34 highway, 30 combined. AWD costs 1 mpg combined, and it costs $1,500 on every CR-V, including hybrids.
Standard safety features on the base LX include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control that works down to a stop, and active lane control. Other standard features include 17-inch wheels, a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, keyless start, and LED headlights.
The $33,700 EX trim ($340 more than last year) adds blind-spot monitors, a sunroof, heated front seats, and a power driver’s seat, as well as dual-zone climate control and more stylish 18-inch wheels.
The $36,350 EX-L upgrades to a 9.0-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone compatibility with a wireless charger, and an eight-speaker audio system.
2025 Honda CR-V Sport hybrid models
2025 Honda CR-V hybrid models, dubbed Sport, get a $300 increase, except for the top Sport Touring model that increases $600 to top the range at $42,150. The Sport hybrids employ a punchier 204-hp 2.0-liter inline-4 paired with two electric motors. Sport hybrid models rate at 43/36/40 mpg, or 40/34/37 mpg with AWD.
The CR-V Sport hybrid costs $35,700 and it’s sportier behind the wheel and by the eye. Building off the EX grade listed above, it also adds blacked-out trim pieces, black 18-inch wheels, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. Based on the EX, the hybrid upcharge is $2,000.
Honda says that the CR-V Sport hybrid family now accounts for more than 50% of CR-V sales. The 2025 CR-V Sport is better equipped than rivals, but it’s also nearly $6,000 more than the 2025 Kia Sportage Hybrid with front-wheel drive. Adding AWD to the CR-V Sport brings the price to $37,200; the 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid with AWD starts at $33,075.
Splitting the hybrid difference between the base Sport and the loaded Touring, the Sport-L costs $38,700 and upgrades to leather upholstery, a power passenger seat, a power tailgate, and a 9.0-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity and a wireless smartphone charger.
The $42,150 Sport Touring Hybrid comes standard with AWD and adds 19-inch wheels, Bose 12-speaker audio, navigation, and a wifi hotspot.
