The 2025 Hyundai Elantra rolls into the new year with no real changes except for a modified price structure, Hyundai disclosed Tuesday. Most notably, it rolls back the price hike from the refreshed 2024 Elantra Hybrid Blue base model, but also strips some of its features and makes them optional.

The 2025 Hyundai Elantra Blue hybrid costs $26,250 (all prices listed include the mandatory $1,150 destination and delivery fee). That’s $1,150 less than last year’s model but it also rolls back the standard features. Last year’s 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.3-inch touchscreen have been replaced by a smaller display between the analog gauges and an 8.0-inch touchscreen. That might not be a bad thing, however, as it now has wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
It maintains the same 54 mpg combined rating from its 1.6-liter inline-4. Paired with an electric motor fed by a 1.3-kwh lithium-ion battery, the total system output is 139 hp. It only comes with front-wheel drive, and a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.
That’s the second-most efficient gas car on the market beside the 2024 Toyota Prius and its 57 mpg combined rating (54 mpg with AWD). The Kia Niro comes in third at 53 mpg.
Hyundai also slotted in a new mid-grade level between last year’s base Blue and the top Elantra Hybrid Limited. The $28,225 Hybrid SEL Sport adds 17-inch alloy wheels that will shave 1-2 mpg, black exterior accents, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a wireless smartphone charger, and options such as the 10.3-inch instrument cluster and 10.3-inch touchscreen.
Those upgrades come on the top Limited grade that runs $30,600. It also has a power driver’s seat, heated and cooled front seats, synthetic leather upholstery, adaptive cruise control that restarts from a stop, and a Bose audio system.
Every Elantra comes with automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitors, active lane control, a driver attention monitor, and automatic high-beam headlights.

The non-hybrid Elantra lineup sees modest price increases of $250-$280, depending on the trim for 2025. The SE, SEL, new SEL Convenience, and Limited models use a 147-hp 2.0-liter inline-4 with a CVT that sends power to the front wheels.
The $22,775 SE model rides on wee 15-inch wheels and comes with an 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, keyless entry, four USB-C ports, and cloth seats. It’s one of a handful of the cheapest cars for 2025 that cost less than $25,000.
The $24,150 SEL Sport follows the same features as the Hybrid model, powertrain notwithstanding, while the new SEL Convenience trim that was a package last year adds heated side mirrors, heated front seats, a sunroof, adaptive cruiser control, 60:40-split folding rear seat, and the larger cluster and touchscreen, though smartphone compatibility requires a wire. It’s $26,725.
The Limited runs $27,675 and follows the Hybrid Limited’s feature set.
The 2025 Elantra N Line costs $29,875 employs a 207-hp 1.6-liter turbo-4 with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and has larger 12.0-inch front rotors, as well as a multi-link rear suspension for more dynamic handling over the torsion beam on other models. It flashes chrome exhaust tips, a distinct black grille and bumper, a black rear diffuser, and black window accents. It has most of the features of the Limited and acts as a visual gateway to the Elantra N sport sedan.
The Elantra N sports a 2.0-liter turbo-4 rated at 276 hp and 289 lb-ft, good for a 0-60 mph time in the low five seconds. It has a 6-speed manual transmission or, for $1,500 more, an 8-speed dual-clutch, priced at $35,100 and $36,600 respectively.
Made in Alabama, the 2025 Elantra goes on sale soon.
