2025 Kia K4, Nissan Kicks headline the week’s new car reviews


The 2024 New York auto show kicked off this week with a media preview before opening to the public this weekend, and one of the new car kickers was the redesigned 2025 Nissan Kicks. It preceded Nissan’s announcement of its electrified vehicle plan with more hybrids and plug-in hybrids added to the mix in the next few years.

There were a half-dozen new, redesigned, and refreshed models that bit the big apple this weekend. Here’s everything that moved us.

2025 Kia K4 preview

The fourth-generation compact sedan from Kia is mostly new, but it looks nothing like the Forte.

2025 Hyundai Tucson preview

Hyundai refreshed its bestselling Tucson with a streamlined front end, a more user-friendly interface, and more standard convenience features, including wireless smartphone compatibility across the lineup.
