2025 Kia Seltos priced at $25,965 with AWD

The mildly updated 2025 Kia Seltos crossover SUV starts at $25,965. Unusually, that base price is for an all-wheel drive version despite front-wheel drive grades also being in the lineup.

The base price (which includes a mandatory $1,375 destination charge) applies to the LX trim level, which is only available with all-wheel drive. Kia also offers S and EX grades with front-wheel drive priced at $26,465 and $27,465, respectively. That makes the small crossover at least $3,000 more than a similarly equipped Chevrolet Trax, though all-wheel-drive versions are on par with the AWD Subaru Crosstrek. 

The Seltos S and EX are available with all-wheel drive as well. It’s a $1,500 upcharge on the S grade and $2,200 on the EX grade, bringing prices to $27,965 for an all-wheel drive S and $29,665 for an all-wheel drive EX. X-Line ($30,665) and SX ($32,465) models, which are only available with all-wheel drive, round out the lineup.

Following a mid-cycle refresh for the 2024 model year, Kia made a number of small changes for 2025, including what the automaker says are improved interior materials and finishes, as well as some changes to feature content.

Reverse park distance warning is now standard on EX and SX grades, while a smart power tailgate is standard on all-wheel-drive versions of those models. S models receive auto up/down driver windows, a 4.3-inch TFT display, and 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels, while a power sunroof package is available on the EX grade.

Powertrain options are unchanged. An Atkinson-cycle 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine is standard on LX, S, and EX grades. It produces 146 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque. A 1.6-liter turbo-4 producing 195 hp and 195 lb-ft is used in SX and X-Line models. A continuously variable transmission is standard with both engines.
