2025 Ram 1500, Honda Prologue top this week’s new car reviews

The news was light during this short week, but the first drives of some new cars loomed large for the marketplace. Honda launched its first mass-produced electric vehicle in the Prologue crossover that casts a much wider net than the discontinued Honda Clarity sedan. Ram retired its V-8 and diesel models for a twin-turbo inline-6 that spun us around, right ’round like a hurricane. Mazda also disclosed pricing and trim levels on the 2025 CX-70, a two-row version of the three-row CX-90 that launched new last year.

We also tracked the prices on other new models and got some seat time in the new Hyundai Kona. Here’s what moved us.
