Adani Airports launches series of digital initiatives to streamline operations, ETTravelWorld

Adani Airports Holdings Ltd (AAHL), a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, has announced a comprehensive digital transformation strategy designed to enhance efficiency and redefine passenger journeys across its network of airports. Focused on convenience, innovation, and operational excellence, the initiatives align with AAHL’s vision of building airports as integrated lifestyle and economic hubs.

The strategy is built around three key platforms – aviio, Adani OneApp, and Airport in a Box – each supporting different aspects of airport operations and passenger experience.

aviio – smart operations platform
aviio, developed in-house, serves multiple airport stakeholders including operators, airlines, security agencies, and ground handlers. By enabling real-time information exchange, it addresses operational silos, enhances collaboration, and supports smoother journeys for passengers. The platform also provides regulatory and concessionaire partners with shared data, contributing to efficiency and confidence in travel planning.

Adani OneApp – unified passenger services
Adani OneApp integrates a wide range of services into a single interface. Features include Adani Rewards, pre-bookable lounge access, duty-free and retail shopping with delivery options, live flight tracking, Wi-Fi connectivity, and Park & Fly services. Since launch, the app has added more than 60 features and 1,200 key performance indicators, supported by staff training and external partnerships to ensure wide adoption. It shifts airport interactions from transactional to experiential, making services more personalised and accessible.

Airport in a Box – future-ready infrastructure
Airport in a Box combines advanced infrastructure and digital systems to support scalable, flexible development. By introducing plug-and-play modules and digital twins, the initiative integrates capacity expansion into a unified digital-native framework, ensuring readiness for future growth and onboarding of new airports.

Alongside these digital platforms, AAHL is embedding sustainable design and multimodal connectivity into airport planning, with investments in road, rail, and metro integration. These steps aim to create gateways that not only deliver seamless passenger experiences but also contribute to regional economic development.

By deploying aviio, Adani OneApp, and Airport in a Box, AAHL is positioning its airports as digital-first hubs that combine travel, retail, and hospitality while setting benchmarks for India’s aviation sector.
