Air Botswana Appoints APG as GSA in 16 Markets

 Air Botswana recently appointed APG as its
General Sales Agent (GSA) for markets outside Botswana.

Under the agreement, APG will provide the airline with an online
GSA in South Africa and offline GSAs in Australia, Austria,
Belgium, China, Germany, Hong Kong SAR, Ireland, Italy, Japan,
Kenya, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland and the
United Kingdom.

With over 30 years’ experience in airline
distribution and over 100 offices globally, APG will not only provide sales
development and marketing activities in the
aforementioned markets, but will also provide reservation and
ticketing services.

“We are delighted to have been chosen by Air
Botswana to provide GSSA representation services in a wide range of
countries throughout both Europe and Asia as well as online in
South Africa,” said Richard Burgess, President APG Network. “This
marks the next step in our valued and longstanding relationship
with the airline and we are looking forward to working closely
with the excellent team at Air Botswana to further develop
passenger traffic from around the world.”

Air Botswana currently operates a fleet of two new
generation ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft and one Embraer E-170 jet
on flights to domestic destinations such as Maun, Kasane,
Francistown and Gaborone as well as regional destinations
including Cape Town, Johannesburg, Lusaka and Harare.
