Britney Spears had two special people in mind when writing her memoir!
The “Baby One More Time” singer dedicated her book, The Woman in Me, to her sons, 18 year-old Sean Preston and 17-year-old Jayden James.
The 41-year-old pop star refers to her two sons as “the loves of her life,” according to Page Six.
Spears welcomed the boys during her relationship with ex-husband Kevin Federline. They were together from 2004-2007. In May, the “Oops I Did It Again” songstress signed off on documents that allowed her sons to move to Hawaii with Federline.
In August, a source told ET that Spears was “sad and disappointed” about the move. However, the source added that she remained optimistic and hopes that they can “rekindle their relationship, get closer, learn from the past, and collectively work towards a brighter and healthier future someday.”
In an interview with People earlier this week, Spears said that she still has contact with her sons and gushed about motherhood.
“Being a mom was my dream come true,” she told the outlet.
Ahead of the book’s release, excerpts from the highly anticipated memoir were released, detailing some of the singers ups and downs throughout her career.
In one of the biggest bombshell moments, the “Toxic” singer claims that she had an abortion, after becoming pregnant with Justin Timberlake’s baby during their relationship.
According to Spears, the “My Love” singer told her he was not ready for fatherhood.
“It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” Spears writes about the pregnancy via People. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”
ET has reached out to Timberlake’s rep for comment on the allegations.
The Woman in Me is available for pre-order and is set to be released on Oct. 24.
