Cheval Collection wins prestigious Best Cross-Brand Contribution at Global Hotel Alliance Awards | News

Cheval Collection, the UK-based luxury hotel apartments and branded residences company with a growing portfolio of properties in the Middle East, has been crowned Best Cross-Brand Contribution at the 2026 Global Hotel Alliance Awards.
Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) – the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands and operator of the award-winning GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme – recognised Cheval Collection as the enrolling brand that inspired the most member stays across other GHA brands.

Cheval Collection is the first serviced apartment operator in Europe to join the programme, which has more members per room than any other loyalty scheme in the sector. Within the first six months, enrolment targets were exceeded by 40% with one property achieving 500% of its target. GHA’s benchmark data shows an anticipated 30% of total revenue to be member revenue. Cheval Collection exceeded GHA’s global standard across all alliance brands, achieved in the first six months of the programme’s launch.

Cheval’s growing Middle East portfolio currently comprises 645 hotel apartments and branded residences across five operational and upcoming properties: Cheval Maison The Palm Dubai,  Cheval Maison Expo City Dubai, Cheval Residences Dubai Islands, Cheval Ladun Living in Riyadh and Cheval Maison Sulaymaniyah, also in Riyadh.  More properties in the region will be announced soon.
Mohammed Alawadhi, Managing Director, Cheval Collection said: “This award is a fantastic recognition of the strength of the CHEVAL DISCOVERY partnership and the value that collaboration across the GHA delivers for both guests and member brands. To be recognised as the brand that inspired the most member stays across other GHA properties is especially rewarding, as it reflects the trust our guests place in Cheval Collection and their confidence in exploring the wider GHA portfolio. Loyalty is about creating meaningful travel experiences beyond a single stay and we’re proud to play a role in driving engagement across the partnership while continuing to welcome new and returning guests to our own properties.”

GHA CEO Chris Hartley commented: “Congratulations to our winners for their outstanding accomplishments. Their achievements demonstrate the strength of collaboration and innovation among alliance member brands, inspired by a spirit of healthy competition and best practice, that continues to drive the success of GHA DISCOVERY and create value for all member brands.”
Cheval’s GHA award comes hot on the heels of four Cheval Collection properties – including Cheval Maison The Palm Dubai – receiving the Tripadvisor Traveller’ Choice Award 2026.
In April this year, Cheval Collection moved into the branded residences sector, debuting in the UAE with Cheval Residences Dubai Islands and quickly followed by Cheval Residences Knightsbridge Gate in London.
