The Kia EV4 only recently debuted in Europe, but the company is already gearing up to show off its performance credentials with the upcoming GT version—destined to be the most powerful variant in the lineup. While official details remain scarce, Kia has released early images of a camouflaged prototype, offering a glimpse of what the final model might look like.
The teaser also introduces a new camouflage design that will be used on all future Kia GT prototypes. This distinctive wrap is meant to evoke both speed and the brand’s electric identity, and it will appear on every test vehicle for Kia’s high-performance models.
Beyond what the teaser reveals, it’s what remains hidden that’s most curious. As with the EV6 and EV9, the Kia EV4 GT doesn’t seem to adopt a radically different design. Instead, it avoids exaggerated aerodynamic elements in favor of subtle refinements.
The transformation from a standard compact to a sporty crossover appears to come via smaller details—such as redesigned wheels and striking acid-green brake calipers, echoing the look of its larger siblings. It’s unclear whether the suspension has been lowered, but a slight drop of a few centimeters compared to the standard EV4 wouldn’t be surprising.

Inside, the signature acid-green color is expected to make a return, highlighting details such as stitching on the sport seats and other accents, while the overall cabin design should remain largely unchanged. Exclusive digital graphics for the instrument cluster and infotainment system may also appear, activated when the sportiest driving mode is selected.
Kia has yet to reveal any details about the powertrain, but it will undoubtedly surpass the 204 horsepower of the standard EV4. The GT variant will likely use the larger 81.4-kilowatt-hour battery pack, leaving the smaller 58.3-kWh unit behind, and all-wheel drive is expected.
The Kia EV4 GT is anticipated to make its official debut sometime in 2026.
