Earlier this year, Honda unveiled a pair of high-tech electric vehicles. The automaker said the two prototypes were near-production examples of models that go on sale next year, and the automaker demonstrated the SUV for the first time in public this week ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix.
The Honda 0 SUV made its public debut with Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen at the wheel and teammate Yuki Tsunoda in the passenger seat. Honda hasn’t provided a lot of details about the EVs. The 0 Series models will share a dedicated EV architecture, but we don’t know the battery sizes, range, or power the EVs could have when they arrive.

However, Honda has touted that the 0 SUV and 0 Saloon will have Level 3 automated driving, capable of eyes-off, hands-off operation. Like other automakers, the company is also touting a centralized operating system running everything, which Honda calls ASIMO, named after the company’s cute robot. Honda wrapped the prototype in a geometric pattern that should look close to the real thing.
The car will have a ton of sensors and cameras, capable of learning all about the occupants and their surroundings. According to the company, the vehicle will be able to recognize your emotional state and react accordingly.

Honda will build the production version of the 0 Series SUV and sedan at its EV Hub in Ohio. The automaker plans to put the SUV on sale first, which should begin arriving by the middle of 2026. The 0 Saloon will also go on sale next year.
