India’s first neo metro project to link 3 Uttarakhand cities, drone survey on PRT corridor to begin soon, ET TravelWorld

IG Drones is the leading Drone Tech and Analytics Company that has launched India’s first 5G Drone.

IG Drones, a pioneer in drone technology and analytics, has been awarded a contract to survey the PRT corridor as part of the Neo Metro System, India’s first Neo Metro Project. The initiative aims to revolutionise rapid transit systems in Dehradun, Haridwar, and Rishikesh by 2024, alleviating traffic congestion in these cities.

The Personalized Rapid Transit Corridor (PRT), integrated into the Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS), will seamlessly connect Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Dehradun. Initiated by the Government of Uttarakhand, the PRT Corridor project focuses on delivering cutting-edge commuting solutions in challenging terrains. IG Drones will leverage its expertise to prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) using advanced drones, contributing to the real-time tracking and management of the project.

Equipped with state-of-the-art sensors, IG Drones’ technology captures high-resolution images, videos, and essential data from the ground. The gathered information is processed through their proprietary software, IG One, providing detailed technical insights and analytics. This technology facilitates ongoing monitoring of project progress, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring safety and security measures are upheld.

Bodhisattwa Sanghapriya, Founder and CEO of IG Drones, expressed enthusiasm about the contract, stating, “Surveying a metro rail project in challenging terrain is no small feat, but with our cutting-edge drone technology, we can monitor such projects in detail. Our company is committed to providing comprehensive technical insights to government officials and regulatory bodies, ensuring real-time project tracking and heightened safety and security measures.”

IG Drones has already made significant contributions to the drone industry, launching India’s first 5G-enabled drone, Skyhawk, earlier this year. The company’s commitment to innovation is evident in its diverse applications, from border surveillance to medical and defense sectors. Having previously secured the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project Surveying contract, IG Drones is positioned as a key player in advancing India’s infrastructure development.
