Infiniti Autograph Lounge SEMA concept is tailgating for the rich

Infiniti brought a QX80 concept that’s ready for tailgating to the 2024 SEMA show, now running in Las Vegas.

The Autograph Lounge concept is based on the redesigned 2025 Infiniti QX80, with most of the changes at the back. A television and custom Klipsch audio system—from the same supplier of the QX80’s factory audio systems—are mounted in the cargo area, with the latter featuring speaker grilles that match the ones in the cabin.

Infiniti also installed drawers for smaller items, with everything wrapped in burgundy leather to match the seats. The high-end setup looks more appropriate for a golf match than a football game.

The exterior features a matte-gray wrap and 24-inch wheels with floating center caps inspired by the ones from the QX Monograph concept that previewed the look of the current-generation QX80. The air suspension system also received a lowering kit.

The 2025 Infiniti QX80 debuted earlier this year with updated styling and features that allow it to more directly compete with other full-size luxury SUVs. In addition to the available Klipsch audio systems, the QX80 adopted a three-screen infotainment system and swapped its naturally-aspirated V-8 for a twin-turbo V-6. Buyers have to pay a premium, however, as prices start at $84,445 with destination, compared to $76,045 for the 2024 model.

Infiniti parent Nissan brought its own tailgating rig to SEMA in the form of Project Trailgater, a 2025 Frontier pickup truck that combines built-in televisions with a lift kit to take tailgating off road, as well as the Frontier Tarmac street truck concept—powered by a supercharged V-6.
