Japan Tourism appoints AllKnown Marketers as India Representative, ET TravelWorld


The Japan National Tourism Organization’s Delhi Office has selected AllKnown Marketers as its designated representative for the Indian market. This partnership aims to bolster Travel Trade and PR initiatives, marking a significant step in Japan’s efforts to enhance tourism from India.

AllKnown Marketers will spearhead strategic marketing and communications efforts to attract Indian travellers and position Japan as a sought-after destination for experiential journeys.

Ryo Bunno, Executive Director, JNTO Delhi Office, expressed optimism about India’s potential as a primary market. “India is one of our primary markets, and we certainly have high expectations owing to its performance trajectory in the recent past. AllKnown Marketers team will serve as our extended arm in the market to orchestrate strategic marketing and communications outreach that drives a consistent flow of Indian arrivals. We are excited to appoint a team of market leaders who will navigate us to introduce our diverse offerings and position Japan as the most coveted getaway for Indian experiential travellers,” he said.

Neeti Sharma, CEO, AllKnown Marketers, welcomed the collaboration, emphasising their commitment to enhancing Japan’s visibility among Indian travellers. “We are elated to represent the Japan National Tourism Organization Delhi Office and lead its strategy in key Indian markets and target segments. Our team will work closely with the travel trade and media in India to enhance Japan’s visibility among travellers and amplify arrivals from segments such as Family Trips, weddings, honeymoons, and luxury travellers through concentrated and continuous efforts and continue its aspirational quotient in India”.Affiliated with the Japan Tourism Agency, JNTO functions as the government bureau of tourism, with a global network promoting tourism and event services in Japan. It has 26 tourism-promotion-oriented offices across the world and a large network of suppliers for tourism and event services in Japan.
