Mauricio Umansky Dedicates His ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Performance to Estranged Wife Kyle Richards

Mauricio Umansky is about to put it all on the dance floor!

Ahead of Tuesday’s Dancing With the Stars, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star penned a sweet tribute to his estranged wife, Kyle Richards, whom he is dedicating his performance to. 

“Tonight’s Dance on @dancingwiththestars is about life and how it’s not always perfect and when you think it’s impossible to move mountains and you’re at your lowest moment and you think all doors are closed you need to rise up and rise unafraid and move mountains,” he wrote alongside BTS pictures of him and his partner, Emma Slater, from rehearsals.

“My time was 1996 when Kyle and I got married and Alexia was born, We had Farrah and Alexia. I was 26 when I was fired from my job and was broke. Kyle was my rock and together we rose up and we rose up 1000 x and we moved mountains a lot of them. It’s been an incredible journey. Tonight’s dance is dedicated to Kyle and my Family. Some #BTS.”

Mauricio’s message to Kyle comes days after he was pictured holding hands with Emma following dinner in Los Angeles. The DWTS partners were spotted holding hands after a dinner at Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills on Sunday, according to photos obtained by Page Six.

Mauricio, 53, and Slater, 34, were spotted inside the restaurant by a witness who told Page Six that they shared kisses while seated at the bar for dinner.

However, a source tells ET that “Mauricio and Emma just had dinner. They are friends.”

Mauricio and Kyle, 54, have had a year of ups and downs. Earlier this month, Mauricio — who shares daughters  Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15, with Kyle — confirmed they are separated but still fighting for their marriage.

“The reality is… we are officially separated, but we’re not throwing in the towel,” he explained. “We’re fighting for this. We’ve been married for 27 years, 26 amazing years. Kyle is my best friend, she’s an amazing human, I love her… And marriages go through difficult times, sometimes, and that’s what we’re dealing with right now.”

Despite the current state of their marriage, Mauricio said that the family is closer than ever.

“There’s a lot of pieces of this thing that have actually made the family a little closer… There is a silver lining,” he shared.
