Bengaluru Airport City Limited (BACL) has entered a strategic partnership with Prestige Group to develop a world-class Convention and Exhibition Centre (CEC) within the upcoming Bengaluru Airport City. This development is intended to position the city as a preferred destination for international conferences, trade exhibitions, and cultural events.
The CEC is designed to seat 8,000 attendees and will be accompanied by a performing arts theatre, a luxury hotel under the St. Regis and Marriott marquees, Grade A office spaces, and a curated mix of food and beverage outlets. The facility aims to serve as a venue for global summits, innovation forums, trade expos, and large-scale cultural events.
Commenting on the collaboration, Rao Munukutla, Executive Director and CEO, Bengaluru Airport City Limited, said, “This partnership with Prestige Group underscores our commitment to creating world-class social infrastructure that not only supports the region’s economic agenda but also elevates India’s stature in the global MICE landscape. The Convention and Exhibition Centre will serve as a powerful enabler of international engagement, innovation exchange, and commercial opportunity—establishing Bengaluru as a preferred destination for marquee global gatherings.”
The site will be developed with strong multimodal connectivity via National Highway 44, State Highway 104, the upcoming Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (KIAB) West Metro Station, Suburban Rail, and direct airport access. Integrated amenities such as retail, entertainment, and hospitality facilities are also planned as part of the transit-oriented urban layout.
Irfan Razack, Chairman and Managing Director, Prestige Group, said, “Bengaluru has been integral to Prestige Group’s journey for over three decades. With this landmark development—featuring the iconic St. Regis Hotel, a world-class Marriott marquee, a state-of-the-art Convention and Exhibition Centre, and a dedicated Performing Arts theatre—we reaffirm our long-standing commitment to the city’s growth story. This is our way of giving back to Namma Bengaluru by creating infrastructure that drives global visibility, economic opportunity, and cultural vibrancy.”
