Scandinavian Airlines Launches Daily Flights Between Copenhagen and Atlanta, USA

 Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has launched daily
nonstop flights between Copenhagen and Atlanta, the airline’s
ninth destination in North America.

Flight SK929 is scheduled to depart from
Copenhagen Airport (CPH) at 13:10, arriving at Atlanta
Hartsfield-Jackson Airport (ATL) at 17:10.

From Atlanta, flight SK930 is slated to depart at
19:00 and arrive in Copenhagen at 10:20, the following day.

SAS will operate the route with Airbus
A330 and A350 aircraft, both configured with three
travel classes – SAS Business, SAS Plus, and SAS Go.

expand its offerings for both business and leisure travelers,”
said SAS Chief Commercial Officer, Paul Verhagen. “Leisure travelers can look forward to exploring Atlanta and
several new destinations across the USA, all conveniently
accessible from Atlanta. For business travelers, Atlanta serves as
a significant hub, home to numerous Fortune 500 companies, making
it a lucrative and essential destination.”

Handling nearly
104 million passengers in 2023, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport is
one of the world’s busiest
airports.

Atlanta
serves as a major hub for the SkyTeam member, Delta Air Lines, and
with SAS joining SkyTeam on 1 September 2024, customers will benefit from seamless access to
a network that includes over 1,060 destinations
across all member airlines.

SAS has already started integrating Delta Air
Lines flights into its itineraries.

offering our customers improved access to destinations,” said
Alain Bellemare, Delta’s E.V.P. & President – International. “Our
bilateral agreement is integral to our long-term strategy to
better connect Delta customers around the world and SAS’ new
nonstop service between Atlanta and Copenhagen, one of their
primary European hubs, is a strong start in building our future
cooperation.”
