SCoR employee booked for ‘duping’ youths over job promise


The ACB of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Visakhapatnam, has registered a case against M. Kishore Kumar, a Grade-I Technician, on charges of deceiving unemployed youths by promising them jobs in Indian Railways.

Acting on a complaint lodged by a woman of Jakkaram village of Kalla mandal in West Godavari district, alleging that Kishore Kumar took ₹20 lakh, assuring to provide jobs to her and her son, the CBI officials registered a case on June 28, and began investigation.

The accused is working as a Grade I technician at the carriage and wagon depot in the Vijayawada Division of South Coast Railway (SCoR).

The complainant alleged that Kishore Kumar offered fake documents of Indian Railways, and fake offer letters and duped the job aspirants.
