The Cadillac Celestiq Got Way Pricier for 2026

The Cadillac Celestiq is the automaker’s low-volume luxury model meant to showcase its bespoke capabilities. Such an extreme car comes at an equally extreme price, with the 2025 model starting at around $340,000. As Cadillac prepares to produce the 2026 model, though, the price is going up significantly.

The 2026 Celestiq is $60,000 more expensive than before, with a starting price in the low $400,000 range, according to Automotive News. The price bump makes the premium smart glass roof standard, and the car now comes with eight years of connected services.

Even a $400,000 luxury car isn’t immune to limited-time offers. According to the publication, Cadillac also streamlined the personalization process for customers.

Cadillac introduced the Celestiq in late 2022, marking the brand’s shift toward electric vehicles. It rides on the General Motors Ultium Platform, making 655 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque from a dual-motor setup.

The Celestiq can hit 60 miles per hour in as little as 3.7 seconds with Velocity Max mode. The car has adaptive air springs and Magnetic Ride Control 4.0.

What makes the Celestiq special is that the company claims no two cars will be alike, due to the numerous customization options available. A buyer can select bespoke paints, numerous upholstery options, distinctive trim accents, and more.

The Cadillac comes with Super Cruise, four-wheel steering, a pillar-to-pillar HD display, a 38-speaker sound system, and heated armrests. It’s packed with technology and several 3D-printed parts.

Cadillac told AN that it has sold all 25 of its 2025 models, but the order books are open for 2026. The automaker has no plans to ramp up production of this model, serving as a showcase of the potential of luxury features and cutting-edge technology that’s possible in a hand-built, American-made Rolls-Royce rival.
