To celebrate the conclusion of her record-smashing Eras Tour, Kelce threw Swift quite a surprise party by creating one of the tour’s most beloved traditions: recreating it for the party, it included a great deal of attention to detail.

The “22” moment was a hallmark of the Eras Tour performances by Swift that featured her song “22.” For instance, during her song “22,” Swift would tape along the catwalk and give one lucky audience member a black fedora. This became one of the most sought-after memorabilia for Swifties across the globe. At his surprise birthday party, however, Kelce embraced his inner Swiftie and recreated the iconic gift of the black fedora to Swift, fully capturing the feel of the “22” moment. Her friend Ashley Avignone posted a photo on Instagram with the caption, “and the last 22 hat goes to…,” capturing the raw and beautiful moment.
The surprise party didn’t stop at the hat. Kelce thoughtfully curated several props and references from the Eras Tour, creating a magical atmosphere. From the faux-cleaning cart Swift used backstage to the green capes from her Evermore performance of “Willow” and the cherished friendship bracelets worn by guests, every detail paid homage to her musical journey. It was a starry event where Brittany Mahomes shone in a glimmering silver fringe mini frock influenced by Swift’s Fearless era, walking with Patrick Mahomes dressed up in Ed Kelce’s Eras Tour suit. Swift herself opted for chic $4,290 black minidress in a halter neck cut accented in crystal, perfect for the surprise.
