The small Gulf country of Oman is now poised to become a pioneer in the development of AI-powered tourism as Visit Oman introduces an AI digital hub that will revolutionize the travel and tourism industry all over the world.

AI-Based Digital Tourism Platform Transforms Travel Experiences

One of the key features of the new platform is the AI digital hub designed to deliver a fully automated travel experience for the travelers from around the world who choose to visit Oman.

The platform will connect tourists with more than 200 tourism providers, over 350+ experiences, and more than 140 hotels in Oman, creating one complete destination travel hub where the visitors will be able to plan all aspects of their journey in just a few clicks.

These agreements also help Visit Oman develop its MICE tourism (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) offerings by facilitating customized travel arrangements and visa processes for global events.

AI Power to Empower Local SMEs in Oman

Another significant feature of this revolutionary platform is the support of the local small and medium tourism enterprises.

According to Visit Oman representatives, over 80% of the tourism providers connected via this platform represent local tourism SMEs.

Also, the platform digitizes over 350 tourism services and products to empower local tourism SMEs with global visibility and competitiveness. Explore how digital transformation supports SMEs.

Using AI to Drive Oman’s Vision 2040 Forward
