More than many other brand, Jaguar finds itself in the crosshairs of its transition to electric vehicles. Only one model remains for the 2025 model year, which is also the English brand’s 90th birthday. Technically, it still sells leftover F-Type sports cars, discontinued I-Pace electric crossovers, and whatever remains of its XF sedan and E-Pace small crossover.
But the F-Pace compact crossover is the only Jaguar in production and badged as a 2025 model, and a limited-run 90th Anniversary Edition celebrates the final run of the brand’s use of internal combustion engines.
In 2025, Jaguar will not only begin introducing the vanguard of its electric vehicle portfolio, but it will also return to its heritage, with ultra-luxury offerings meant to compete with Bentley and Aston Martin. The EV launch appears on track, even as other luxury automakers have toned down their ambitious plans to transition to all electric vehicles in recent months.
In May, Cadillac changed course and suggested it would still make and sell gas cars beyond the 2030 target it had made a few years ago to go fully electric. Similarly, in July, Volvo bent to dealer demands by announcing it would reconsider selling only EVs after 2030 due to softer EV growth than planned and political headwinds. Mercedes, Audi, and other automakers have adjusted their EV timelines as well.
For now, Jaguar plans to launch the Jaguar GT EV in 2025 on a new platform exclusive to Jaguar and not shared with Land Rover. The four-door grand touring sedan may cost more than $125,000, could have a range nearing 400 miles, and could launch from 0-60 mph in less than four seconds.
It’s to be followed by an electric midsize crossover SUV in 2026—likely an F-Pace replacement—then a larger electric crossover for 2027.
All of that could change. Here’s what we know about Jaguar for 2025.
The stylish but aging compact crossover SUV enters its final year before either a 2026 refresh or an end to the model entirely with a new 90th Anniversary Edition as well as a range-topping F-Pace SVR 575 Edition. Engine options include the P250 with a 246-hp turbo-4 for $58,275, the P400 with a 395-hp turbocharged mild-hybrid inline-6 for $68,000, and, while supplies last, the supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 in the P575 that costs about $94,000.

Jaguar celebrates the end of its V-8 with the SVR 575. The 575 indicates the metric horsepower, which is equivalent to 567 hp in the U.S. That’s a boost from 542 hp in the normal SVR V-8. It sports a black exterior styling package, unique 22-inch wheels, and heated and cooled sport seats up front with 14-way power adjustments and leather trim.
