The 2024 Hyundai Elantra compact sedan mostly carries over and the price mostly stays the same, except for the Elantra Hybrid model. It gets a price increase of $1,735, including the $1,150 destination fee, from the 2023 Elantra.
The gas models get a nominal increase from $185 for the base Elantra SE to $335 for the top Elantra Limited. Every Elantra has a grille that appears lower and a hood that extends further. New taillight designs slap the rear, and in between the front and rear are all the creases, cuts, and angles that make the Elantra stand out.
All models have automatic emergency braking, active lane control, blind-spot monitors, automatic high-beam headlights, and LED headlights and running lights.
The SE, SEL, and Limited models use a 147-hp 2.0-liter inline-4 with a CVT that sends power to the front wheels. The $22,775 SE model rides on wee 15-inch wheels and comes with an 8.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and keyless entry.
For $24,725, the SEL rolls on 16-inch wheels and upgrades the cockpit to a 10.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.3-inch touchscreen, but it requires a cord to connect smartphone apps. A $1,750 Convenience package adds 17-inch alloy wheels, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, adaptive cruise control, pedestrian and cyclist detection, heated front seats, and a wireless smartphone charger. It’s a recommended package.
The $28,215 Limited includes that package and adds to it a Bose 8-speaker sound system, synthetic leather upholstery, a power driver’s seat, a sunroof, a surround-view camera system, a blind-spot camera, and a limited hands-free driving system.

2024 Hyundai Elantra N Line
The 2024 Elantra N Line costs $29,615, and it adds a sportier vibe to the Elantra lineup. A 207-hp 1.6-liter turbo-4 pairs with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and has larger 12.0-inch front rotors, as well as a multi-link rear suspension for more dynamic handling over the torsion beam on other models. It flashes chrome exhaust tips, a distinct black grille and bumper, a black rear diffuser, and black window accents. It has most of the features of the Limited.

2024 Hyundai Elantra N
The Elantra N steps into the next level with a 2.0-liter turbo-4 that musters 276 hp and 289 lb-ft, good for a 0-60 mph time in the low five seconds. It has a 6-speed manual transmission or, for $1,500 more, an 8-speed dual-clutch. Automatic models have a button that provides a short power boost for an extra 10 hp and tweaked shift points for acceleration that feels even more rapid, but only for 20-second spurts. Expect it to cost about $35,000.
2024 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid
The 2024 Elantra Hybrid costs $1,735 more than the 2023 model, perhaps because the Honda Civic Hybrid has been bumped back to a 2025 model year due sometime this summer. The base Elantra Blue costs $27,400, and the styling tweaks may have helped it gain some highway efficiencies, from 53 mpg city, 56 highway, 54 combined last year to 51/58/54 mpg. It has the same content as the SEL model detailed above.
The Limited costs $30,600, and it’s rated at 49/52/50 mpg.
The 2024 Elantra is on sale now, while Elantra N models are expected this spring.
