Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor are set to collaborate on a project soon. On Tuesday, Alia Bhatt, who is married to Ranbir, took to her Instagram to share an “exciting” update with her fans. She revealed that the two actors will be teaming up for a project, with more details to be unveiled on Wednesday, March 12.

Alia shared a video of herself holding a poster featuring Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor’s photo. The poster described their collaboration as the “ultimate blockbuster” and teased that they would present the “greatest rivalry” on screen.

Alia captioned the post, “A battle of the best! Two of my favourite actors w̶i̶t̶h̶ against each other. Stay tuned for something very very exciting…more deets coming tomorrow. P.S. I know you’re going to love it as much as I did!!”

Alia’s announcement sparked a wave of excitement among netizens. Fans quickly flooded the comments section to show their support for Aamir and Ranbir. One fan wrote, “Legends collaborating,” while another commented, “Omg I just can’t wait.”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are also set to collaborate on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, which will also feature Vicky Kaushal in the lead role.

In a previous exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Alia shared her excitement about the film and her reunion with Ranbir, saying, “I, as an audience, am more excited to see him [Bhansali] and Ranbir collaborate again, after so many years. I am like, ‘wow, what’s that going to be like?’” She also spoke about reuniting with Vicky Kaushal, saying, “Vicky and I coming together again; Ranbir and Vicky created magic with Sanju. So, it is a lot of combinations.”

“At the end of the day, the intention is to keep your head down and work hard. Not let the other excitement get in the way, because the excitement about the film and the material is the most important. When you are on set, you just have to give your 180 percent,” she added.
