Preparations for the inauguration of Noida International Airport have entered the final stage, with authorities accelerating efforts to ensure smooth execution of the event scheduled for March 28, 2026. The inauguration will be carried out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The district administration has mobilised all departments to complete operational and logistical arrangements. Key focus areas include security deployment, traffic management, parking coordination, surveillance systems, and emergency services. Facilities such as medical support, fire services, electricity supply, sanitation, drinking water, barricading, signage, and public announcement systems are being finalised.

The event infrastructure, including the venue, helipad, designated parking zones, and entry and exit routes, has been organised to manage expected high footfall. Traffic flow plans have been reinforced to minimise disruptions, while CCTV-based monitoring systems are being actively managed through a central control room to ensure real-time surveillance.

The project has been developed under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, with the state government positioning it as a major infrastructure milestone. The airport is expected to play a significant role in enhancing regional connectivity, boosting investment, and generating employment opportunities in Uttar Pradesh.

Authorities are anticipating the presence of VVIPs, public representatives, industry stakeholders, and members of the public at the inauguration event. In response, additional measures have been implemented to ensure adequate cleanliness, lighting, and basic amenities for attendees.

Continuous monitoring is being undertaken at the administrative level to ensure seamless execution of the event. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has conducted on-site inspections and reviewed preparedness, issuing directives to ensure all arrangements meet operational standards ahead of the inauguration.

The development of the airport aligns with the state’s broader economic objective of advancing towards a USD 1 trillion economy, with the project expected to serve as a catalyst for infrastructure-led growth in the region.
