The world’s largest spiritual gathering, Maha Kumbh attracts millions of visitors from across the globe.

The guide provides an all-in-one solution for booking hotels, tents, flights, trains, and buses, allowing travellers to plan their journeys seamlessly. The site also features detailed information on key events, such as the auspicious bathing dates, ensuring devotees do not miss the festival’s most significant moments.
Powered by ixigo’s AI-driven PLAN tool, the microsite offers tailored itineraries, including options for heritage walks, family-friendly activities, and visits to photogenic spots. Visitors can also explore Prayagraj’s spiritual and cultural landmarks through immersive videos showcasing must-visit temples and local food trails.
With the approach of Maha Kumbh 2025, ixigo has seen a significant surge in bookings, with a 2.6x increase in flight and train reservations to Prayagraj and surrounding areas. Flight bookings to Prayagraj have risen by 162 per cent year-on-year, while bookings to nearby airports in Varanasi and Lucknow have grown by 127 per cent and 42 per cent, respectively.
Train bookings have surged by 187 per cent, with solo travellers, particularly women, accounting for a significant share. Bus bookings have also seen a sharp rise, with Delhi, Nagpur, and Jaipur leading the demand. Gen Z and millennials have driven most of the bus bookings, reflecting their enthusiasm for participating in this iconic spiritual event.
