Paytm, India’s full-stack payments and financial services distribution company, has announced the launch of Paytm Checkin, its new AI-powered travel app. The introduction of this dedicated platform marks a key move in Paytm’s strategy to integrate artificial intelligence across consumer services, beginning with travel.Paytm Checkin brings a conversational and interactive experience to travel planning. Through its in-app AI assistant, users can search, plan, and book trips simply by chatting. The assistant recommends destinations, creates personalised itineraries, and manages bookings across flights, trains, buses, and metro systems. Designed to improve with each use, the AI continuously learns from preferences and behaviour to deliver more relevant suggestions over time.The company said that Paytm Checkin aims to make travel simpler, faster, and more transparent. Travellers can benefit from zero convenience fees and complete price clarity across all bookings. A INR 99 free cancellation feature for flight bookings and a INR 249 Travel Pass that unlocks additional discounts add flexibility and savings. Meanwhile, Paytm Assured for Buses and Ticket Assure for Trains ensure reliable refunds and confirmed seat assistance respectively.

The app features a clean, modern interface optimised for easy navigation and faster checkout, supported by real-time flight tracking for a smoother experience. According to Paytm, the focus is on shifting travel bookings from traditional search-based systems to conversational and intuitive AI planning.
