Singapore Tourism Board and IndiGo Forge Historic Partnership to Elevate Indian Travel to Singapore, ETTravelWorld


The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and IndiGo have entered into a year-long strategic partnership to encourage Indian travellers to choose Singapore as a preferred leisure and business destination. Signed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the collaboration marks STB’s first formal tie-up with an Indian airline and IndiGo’s first partnership with a national tourism board.

India continues to be a key market for Singapore, ranking among its top three source countries for inbound travel. Over 500,000 Indian visitors travelled to Singapore in the first half of 2025 alone, thanks in part to robust air connectivity. With more than 270 weekly flights between Singapore and 15 Indian cities via Changi Airport, the city-state remains one of IndiGo’s top international destinations.

In line with 60 years of diplomatic ties between India and Singapore, IndiGo will introduce its business travel product, IndiGoStretch, on flights to Singapore from Delhi and Mumbai starting 9 August 2025—Singapore’s National Day. With departures from nine Indian cities and wider network integration, IndiGo aims to cater to growing outbound travel demand.

The renewed partnership builds on the earlier “Untold Singapore” campaign and aims to bring attention to lesser-known attractions alongside popular sites. Through this MoU, STB and IndiGo will launch a year-long campaign combining promotional offers, co-branded content, influencer outreach, and innovative digital engagement formats.

The scope extends beyond consumer-facing campaigns, including industry engagement through roadshows, trade training, MICE incentives, and curated familiarisation trips. Insights-driven marketing using shared data and analytics will further tailor content to Indian travellers’ preferences.

“As we celebrate 60 years of India-Singapore diplomatic relations in 2025, our expanded collaboration with IndiGo and the launch of the year-long ‘Untold Singapore’ campaign positions us to harness the potential of India’s dynamic travel market,” said Melissa Ow, Chief Executive Officer, Singapore Tourism Board.

Pieter Elbers, CEO of IndiGo, added, “With our recent introduction of IndiGoStretch, tailor-made for Singapore, we are even more confident our customers will enjoy a premium travel experience to this vibrant destination.”
