Raffles Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Raffles Jaipur, a majestic retreat that encapsulates the brand’s signature elegance, gracious service, and enchanted glamour in one of India’s most vibrant destinations. Nestled near the fabled ‘Pink City’ and surrounded by the ancient Aravalli Hills, Raffles Jaipur is a contemporary reimagining of a palace, paying homage to the regal art of living.
Omer Acar, CEO, Raffles Hotels & Resorts, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are incredibly excited to welcome guests to Raffles Jaipur, our second property in India. At Raffles, we seek destinations rich with history, beauty, and culture, which led us to expand our presence in Rajasthan. We thank Ratan Kant Sharma and our partners at Triton Hotels and Resorts for their shared vision and commitment to luxury, helping us bring this extraordinary hotel to life.”
Hand-carved from pure white marble, Raffles Jaipur showcases the finest of Rajasthani craftsmanship. Each element within this reimagined palace retreat has been meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans, blending age-old Mughal and Rajputana architectural traditions.
The hotel features 50 unique guestrooms and suites, each with an expansive balcony offering an outdoor soaking tub or plunge pool. Intricate details, including painted corniced ceilings, golden murals, camel bone inlay furniture, and locally sourced artifacts, grace every corner of the accommodations.
The legendary Raffles Butler Service is a hallmark of Raffles Jaipur, with dedicated butlers ready to meet every guest’s need, from curating bespoke experiences to providing heartfelt care. Unique to Raffles Jaipur, butlers also offer curated healing rituals rooted in Rajasthani culture, including botanical-infused bathing, health elixirs made from local spices, and specially developed plant-based ointments.
Raffles Jaipur is set to become a culinary destination, offering dining experiences that celebrate local gastronomy with a modern twist. The specialty restaurant, Arkaa, draws inspiration from the plant-based culinary traditions of the Zenana, or women’s quarters of the Mughal court, using locally sourced ingredients from nearby micro-farms. The Writers Bar serves innovative libations, including the Jaipur Sling, a local take on the famed Singapore Sling, featuring local herbal liqueurs, pineapple juice, lime & bitters, and Indian dry gin. Afternoon tea at Safir and Mediterranean-inspired dishes at the rooftop bar Sehara round out the exceptional dining options.
Guests can indulge in a serene 620-square-meter spa, state-of-the-art fitness studio, and a rooftop pool with stunning city vistas. Raffles Jaipur offers a rich calendar of events and experiences that delve into local heritage and culture, including exclusive dining experiences, masterclasses with local artisans, and private concerts.
Later this year, the hotel will unveil an Artisan Trail, allowing guests to connect with skilled local artisans and explore their crafts and stories.
Binny Sebastian, General Manager, Raffles Jaipur, remarked, “Every element of Raffles Jaipur has been thoughtfully considered, from architecture and design to culinary offerings and wellness experiences. We aim to inspire our guests to immerse themselves in Rajasthani culture, while inviting locals to see their home through the unique lens of Raffles.”
Raffles Jaipur is ideally situated for visitors wishing to explore further into Rajasthan, with Raffles Udaipur just an hour away by domestic flight. Opened in 2021 on the tranquil Udai Sagar Lake, Raffles Udaipur offers curated wellness and nature programs, complementing the attractions of the ‘City of the Lakes.’
