PHIR AAYI HASSEEN DILLRUBA is the story of two crazy lovers. After the events of the first film, Rani (Taapsee Pannu) and Rishu (Vikrant Massey) shift to Agra. But they stay separately and they don’t even meet in the open fearing that they’ll be caught by the cops. Rishu pays… a heavy amount of Rs. 25,000 to a travel agent who has assured Rishi that he’ll make fake passports after which the couple can leave India forever and fly to Thailand. Rani meanwhile bumps into Abhimanyu (Sunny Kaushal), a compounder, who falls crazily in love with her. On the other hand, Inspector Mrityunjay Prasad aka Monty chacha (Jimmy Sheirgill) meets Rani. He is the uncle of Neel (Harshvardhan Rane) and wants to get Rani behind bars for killing the former. He also gets suspicious that Rishi hasn’t died. He tracks every move of Rani and even gets the travel agent arrested. Rishu secretly meets Rani and they plan to lie low for a while. Rani decides to marry Abhimanyu so that the cops are convinced that Rishu has indeed died and that she has moved on. The plan is to escape with Rishu at the right time and leave Abhimanyu heartbroken. But things don’t go as expected for the couple. What happens next forms the rest of the film.
